Born in Chiba, Japan, on December 5th 1984. His debut in motorcycling was at the age of three, riding a pocket bike, at the circuit of Chiba Kita. When he was 10, he was already riding a minibike. From that moment on, it was both talent and categories development: at 14 years old, he won three times the “Local Area GP 125 Class”. When he was 16, he begins at the “National Road Race 125 GP Class”, where he won the “Rookie of the Year”; at the age of 17, he was 4th in the national ranking, taking part of two 125 GP races (Netherlands and England).

Being 18 years old, he wins the “National Road Race 125GP Class”, being top 3 for all races entered and then named Japan Champion. In the next season, he enters the “National Road Race GP 250 Class”, where he will be for the second time nominated “Rookie of the Year”. In the same year, he rode the Japanese round of the 250 GP (world championship), arriving at the 8th place.

At the age of 20 he won the “National Road Race GP 250 Class”. In 2006, he became an official rider HRC and rode the 250 GP (World Championship), getting the 8th place in the final ranking. In the next year, he would be the 12th. Now 2008 will be of great technical and professional development for the official HRC rider, who arrives at the World Superbike Championship with the Team Alto Evolution Honda, bringing his talent, experience and urge to win.
